Enrichment apparatus for life in captivity was JoAnn's specialty niche. It included fabricated trees with targeting devices, olfactory sensors, and hidden crannies for foraging, as well as interactive termite mounds and grub feeders. Featured here are a foraging tree, bird nesting boxes for the Sacramento Zoo and foraging pods which were custom made for the orangutans at the Los Angeles Zoo.
