UNIQUELY DUTTON
This Wildlife Gallery was constructed for the Pioneers Park Museum of Imperial Valley in El Centro, California. It is a life-sized replication of the desert habitat of the Imperial Valley. I was commissioned to create this by two gentleman with long heritages and deep roots in the community. They wanted to contribute something special and educational as part of their legacies. The most significant feature of the exhibit was the beautiful panoramic mural, perfectly depicting the desert backdrop, spanning the 140' back wall and 20' side walls. It was painted by my sister, Nebraska artist Kay Cooper, who flew in to assist me with her magic.
