    City of Calabasas – Calabasas, California

    • Created and installed all median signage throughout the city in collaboration with a design colleague

    • Implemented the conceptual design and developed the construction method, forming a cohesive, structurally integrated armature for the veneer and capstone

    • Designed and fabricated the simulated wood beams, constructed in sections to achieve the illusion of continuous pass-through timbers with embedded street names

  • The Living Desert – Village WaTuTu – Palm Desert, California

    • Simulated mud hut exteriors with layered specialty concrete mix to replicate traditional earthen plaster, including dried, cracked mud areas and handprints

    • Created and embedded tamarisk lattice work for the illusion of their native structural armature for cultural authenticity

    • Replicated nearby tree trunks in texture and color to transform structural steel beams and create the illusion of natural wood

    • Built interactive elements such as a children’s mud play hut and water-mud creation area

  • The Living Desert – Sonoran Jaguar Exhibit – Palm Desert, California

    • Themed habitat designed as an abandoned mining area for the Sonoran Jaguar Exhibit

    • Rockwork construction and fabrication included steel armature, diamond-mesh lath, plaster, and carved cement surfaces

    • Final surfaces textured and painted to replicate natural boulder formations characteristic of the Coachella Valley

  • SeaWorld Discovery Cove – Orlando, Florida

    • Fabricated extensive simulated vines as part of the park’s tropical environment

    • Sculpted in large-scale, multi-branch forms at my Palm Desert warehouse, then shipped and installed on-site during final scenic integration

  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Orlando, Florida

    • Fabricated a large-scale order of simulated vines for habitats and naturalistic installations throughout the park for its grand opening phase

    • Hand-sculpted and assembled at my Palm Desert, California warehouse studio, then shipped for final integration during the park’s construction

  • Pioneers Park Museum – El Centro, California

    • Life-sized wildlife gallery constructed for the Pioneers Park Museum of Imperial Valley

    • Featured sculpted boulders, riverbeds, textured terrain, native vegetation details, educational signage, and taxidermied species displayed in natural environmental settings

    • Commissioned by two longtime community members to create an educational and lasting contribution

    • Featured a panoramic mural spanning 140 feet across the back wall and 20-foot side walls, painted by Nebraska artist Kay Cooper

  • Cattlemen of Imperial Valley – El Centro, California

    • Immersive historical tribute installation at Pioneers Park Museum honoring the region’s ranching heritage, commissioned by the Cattlemen of Imperial Valley

    • Featured a large-scale black-and-white mural of an early cattle drive with a taxidermied bull shoulder and head emerging from the image

    • Included fabricated saddle stands for interactive use, interpretive signage, and a fully curated spatial layout

    • One of three museum installations completed during an eighteen-month engagement at Pioneers Park Museum

  • Imperial Irrigation District – Pioneers Park Museum, El Centro, California

    • Immersive educational exhibit commissioned by the Imperial Irrigation District for installation at Pioneers Park Museum, illustrating the history and impact of the agency within the Imperial Valley

    • Featured a sculptural water spillway designed and fabricated from high-density foam and a proprietary concrete mixture

    • Included interpretive signage panels detailing the origins of Imperial Valley irrigation and its connection to the Colorado River system

    • Created oversized replica of original sand spike discovered at base of Mt. Signal

    • Commissioned by contemporary American artist Allan McCollum for Signs of Mount Signal, inSITE2000

    • Welded steel armature coated in custom-textured concrete replicating the original specimen

    • Custom texture pads fabricated specifically for sand spike replication

    • Featured in a multi-venue museum exhibition presented across several institutions

  • San Diego Zoo – San Diego, California

    • Designed and fabricated species-specific enrichment elements, including concrete termite mounds with internal mealworm sleeves and textured PVC feeder tubes for progressive insect release

    • Created and shipped hand-sculpted simulated vines for primate and reptile habitats to support natural behaviors and enhance exhibit immersion

  • Palm Springs Air Museum – Palm Springs, California

    • Restored a large-scale exterior bas-relief titled Aviation in the Desert, originally created by artist Joe Moller

    • Spanning four sides of the building’s upper façade, the piece depicted historic wartime aircraft, including planes and a blimp

    • Addressed extensive sun damage through structural reinforcement and aesthetic integration of hundreds of screws as simulated rivets, preserving design integrity during restoration

  • Oakland Zoo (formerly Knowland Park Zoo) – Oakland, California

    • Commissioned by Zoo Director, Dr. Joel Parrott, to oversee themed concrete work for the zoo’s major entry renovation

    • Provided direction on surface texture, finish detailing, and integration of entry structures for visual continuity

    • Traveled on-site during key phases to direct crews through carving, plastering, and finishing

  • Cleveland Metroparks Zoo – Cleveland, Ohio

    • Fabricated hand-sculpted simulated vines for multiple animal habitats throughout the zoo
    • Created to enhance both exhibit realism and environmental enrichment across themed enclosures
    • Completed fabrication and finishing off-site prior to shipment and installation at the zoo

  • Los Angeles Zoo – Los Angeles, California

    • Fabricated simulated vines with internal aircraft cable armatures, installed throughout the orangutan enclosure to support climbing and movement
    • Created suspended foraging pods from stainless steel mesh and textured rubber, designed for hoisting into trees for behavioral enrichment

  • Zoo Atlanta – Atlanta, Georgia

    • Fabricated hand-sculpted simulated vines for primate and other habitats throughout the zoo
    • Integrated internal supports and surface textures suited for species specific interaction and environmental enrichment

  • Micke Grove Zoo – Lodi, California

    • Created large-scale, lifelike tortoises and accompanying simulated rockwork in steel-reinforced concrete for the children’s play area

  • Sequoia Park Zoo – Eureka, California

    • Painted a large-scale mural on 15-foot-high curved concrete walls within the bear exhibit to simulate an eroded hillside with exposed soil and native vegetation
    • Transformed the enclosure’s gray concrete surfaces into a naturalistic visual environment, blending painted elements with real vegetation to create habitat depth and continuity

  • San Diego Wild Animal Park (Safari Park) – Escondido, California

    • Fabricated large-scale habitat elements for the Heart of Africa, including hollowed trees with heated floors for the Colobus monkey colony, artificial vines, termite mounds, ostrich eggs, stump feeders, and a full-scale Cape buffalo carcass feeder
    • Constructed with steel-reinforced concrete, welded steel, and sculpted epoxy resin

  • San Francisco Zoo – San Francisco, California

    • Constructed steel-reinforced concrete rockwork, a foraging tree, and simulated terrain for the Kodiak Bear habitat
    • Completed on-site in coordination with zoo personnel, adapting to active enclosures and complex logistical conditions

  • Sacramento Zoo – Sacramento, California

    • Fabricated hand-sculpted simulated vines for exhibits throughout the zoo
    • Designed to enhance naturalistic settings and provide behavioral enrichment for animal activity

  • Folsom City Zoo – Folsom, California

    • Designed and constructed a new bear exhibit featuring detailed rockwork and a steel-reinforced concrete foraging tree

  • Tom Smith Private Estate (Former CEO, Food Lion) – Salisbury, North Carolina

    • Designed and constructed a 5,000-square-foot immersive wildlife game room to showcase a global taxidermy collection
    • Featured sculpted rockwork, trees, termite mounds, and environmental elements representing native habitats for each species

  • Moody Gardens – Galveston Island, Texas

    • Created large simulated rainforest trees in steel-reinforced concrete for the Rainforest Habitat exhibit
    • Fabricated in sections at an off-site facility for size and transport management, then installed within the exhibit

  • Houston Museum of Natural Science – Houston, Texas

    • Fabricated all steel-reinforced rockwork for the Paleontology Hall surrounding in-place fossil displays
    • Installation required specialized protective measures to safeguard specimens during active construction
    • Created geological strata and built simulated rock formations for the Wiess Energy Hall, forming the structural base for the exhibit’s interactive educational components
