This Wildlife Gallery was constructed for the Pioneers Park Museum of Imperial Valley in El Centro, California. It is a life-sized replication of the desert habitat of the Imperial Valley. JoAnn was commissioned for its creation by two gentlemen with long heritages and deep roots in the community. They wanted to contribute something special and educational as part of their legacies. A significant feature of the exhibit was the beautiful panoramic mural, perfectly depicting the desert backdrop, spanning the 140' back wall and 20' side walls, and painted by her sister, Nebraska artist Kay Cooper.
