Simulated vines are hand-sculpted and finished with a texture indigenous to the natural habitat of the particular species or desired environment. The interior armature varies depending upon the species, with copper wire for birds and aircraft cable for primates as an example. Combinations of wire and nylon rope are used in the case of aesthetic only vines. They are hand-painted using many different colors and techniques for a beautiful and realistic end product.
