JoAnn was a Scenic Lead with Universal Studios in the construction of the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Hollywood which opened in April of  2016. As a liaison between the Art Directors for both Universal Studios and Warner Brothers, she led her crew to create the snow atop the village/castle. Subsequently, JoAnn was subcontracted to sculpt the formations of the windows' snow caps throughout the exhibit which she did at her studio then located in Westlake Village, California.
